Ravel sighed as she got out of her car. She was at a familiar place, Donna Sue’s house. The situation was a little unfamiliar, however. Ravel had driven there and not been picked up by Donna Sue for one. She was still getting used to having her own transportation. The other unfamiliar thing was her outfit. She had on a one-piece pink dress with a short skirt. At some point Ravel had acquired significantly more little clothes than big clothes, to the point where she didn’t have any big clothes for her visit today. Not that she would have even worn them if she had them. Ravel felt much more comfortable looking cute and with her diaper peeking out from her skirt. This dress was definitely in that category.

She grabbed a duffle bag that she was using as her diaper bag. Ravel had learned, from Donna Sue in fact, that going anywhere without a diaper change was a mistake. She tended to stay over at Donna Sue’s a while when she did visit so she actually brought two diapers along with a pacifier and bottle. Why she brought the pacifier and bottle she couldn’t say, she wasn’t planning on being little enough to use either of them around Donna Sue, but some part of her told her to bring them just in case.

Ravel stepped out of her car with her duffle diaper bag and strode up to Donna Sue’s door, fully aware of the crinkling of her diaper that could be seen as the skirt moved when she walked. She thought that maybe she could have picked at least a more modest cute little dress, it was too late for it now though, because Donna Sue was already answering the door.

“Oh cute,” Donna Sue cooed at Ravel’s outfit. Ravel blushed a little as Donna Sue let her in. “That diaper peek is on point too,” she added as Ravel walked past her. Ravel tugged her dress down and Donna Sue giggled at the cuteness.

“Thanks,” Ravel said shakily now even more aware at how little her dress covered.

“Is that supposed to be your diaper bag?” Donna Sue gestured to the plain blue duffle bag Ravel had.

“Yeah?” Ravel answered hesitantly.

“Well that just won’t do,” Donna Sue huffed. “That duffle bag is nowhere near cute enough to go with that dress.”

“It’s the only thing I had,” Ravel whined.

“Hold on I think I have my old diaper bag in the attic somewhere,” Donna Sue spoke with her hand across her chin in thought.

“Like from when you were actually a baby?” Ravel clarified.

“Yeah.”

“I don’t wanna take that.”

“It’s not like I’m gonna use it,” Donna Sue joked. “And if you're worried about sentimental value don't be. Besides, you clearly need it more than me miss soggy.” It was only at that moment that Ravel became aware her diaper was wet, and likely peeking from under her dress from the front thanks to the added sag. She once again tugged her dress down with a blush. “I’ve got some chicken n dumplins on the oven, make sure it doesn't burn while I go grab it.”

“But,” Ravel’s protests were cut short as Donna Sue scurried off. Ravel went toward the kitchen with a huff and tended to the pot. Everything looked to be almost done. Ravel spent a few minutes stirring the pot before deciding things looked cooked enough and turning off Donna Sue’s oven, sitting the pot on an unused eye for good measure.

“I found it,” Donna Sue sang proudly as Ravel had just set the pot down. Ravel looked over to examine her friend’s prize. She could already tell it was adorable. It was a shoulder bag with a light green quilted pattern. It was dotted with four pockets around the outside, each with a cartoon animal embroidered on them. It also had a bottle holder on one end and a little keychain-esque pacifier holder on the other. Ravel could tell that the inside of the bag probably had more pockets than she could ever realistically have a need for. This was a kitted-out diaper bag meant to store not only diapers and changing supplies, but snacks, toys, and maybe even a change of clothes as well. It was doubtful that Ravel could fit all that in there. Her adult diapers, changing supplies, and clothes all took up significantly more room than an actual babies. Even still it would no doubt be useful to her, and looked more the part than her plain duffle bag.

“You like it?” Donna Sue asked holding the thing out for Ravel to grab.

“I love it. It’s adorable,” Ravel took it and inspected it. “Are you sure I can take it?”

“Please I insist,”

“It feels kinda weird using something that’s for actual babies.”

“Pshh just adds to the authenticity,” Donna Sue dismissed the complaint. Ravel gave her a look but didn’t say anything because if she did say something it would be some flavor of no and Donna Sue wasn't taking no as an answer.

“Well thank you,” Ravel said instead.

“Let’s go ahead and move your stuff over,” Donna Sue said excitedly grabbing Ravel’s duffle bag.

“Wait Donna I …” Ravel started but Donna Sue already had the diaper bag open and was inspecting the contents.

“Oh, don’t be embarrassed. Oh no Ravel wets her diapers what a shock.” The diapers weren’t exactly what Ravel was worried about, but Donna Sue had just finished placing the pacifier onto the pacifier holder of the new diaper bag without comment. “See you can put your diapers here, put the wipes, powder, and cream on the outside pockets, and you even have some room for one change of clothes. You gotta worry about those blowouts you know. And isn’t this paci holder just the neatest thing.” Ravel blushed deeply. Her protests died and she just grumbled. “It’s even got a little purse pocket for your big girl things.” Donna Sue smiled and handed the diaper bag, now full of Ravel’s little supplies, over to Ravel. “Now you brought two diapers with you so you obviously got something big to talk about.”

“Yeah, a little bit,” Ravel admitted.

“Well let’s do it over dinner,” Donna Sue said moving to the kitchen. Ravel took a spot at the small table in Donna Sue’s kitchen waiting for Donna Sue to put her concoction into bowls. She set both bowls down on the table with purpose. “All right girl what’s on your mind.”

“Streaming,” Ravel answered plainly.

“Well, I figured that much,” Donna swallowed her mouth full of food before continuing. “Something specific about it?”

“I’ve been thinking about doing Cosmic Fans again.” Ravel could feel Donna Sue tense a little, though she showed no outward signs of it. She took an extra bite of food to give her some time to think.

“What are you not making enough?” Donna Sue asked.

“I’m making enough,” Ravel said quickly. “Enough to stay where I’m at.”

“You don’t want to stay where you’re at?”

“It’s not that I don’t want to stay there as much as it’s I want to be somewhere else. Somewhere with some room you know.” Donna Sue was eating so Ravel continued. “I mean the other girls have like cribs and bouncers and things. I don’t even have the room for that stuff much less the funds for it.”

“Is all that stuff really important to you?” Ravel was struck by the question. She hadn’t really thought about how important abdl stuff was to her life. How much of her life she was willing to sacrifice for it. The answer came pretty fast.

“It is,” Ravel answered Donna Sue’s question with unusual determination. Donna Sue looked at her a little stunned.

“Well ok,” She took a moment to accept that information into her paradigm. “So, it is important to you, and you want to move somewhere with some room to engage with it. I think that’s a fine goal. Why can’t you get there with what you have now?”

“I can get there eventually.”

“There’s your answer then,” Donna Sue spoke before Ravel got her full thought out.

“I’m almost thirty-one Donna,” Ravel said cutting Donna Sue off in turn. “I don’t want to wait til I’m fifty to experience some of this stuff. I get that maybe I am just being impatient, but I do really want it. The money I’m making now is keeping me comfortable, but if I want to make enough to get into a new place sometime soon I need another source of income.”

“That income has to be porn?” Donna Sue countered calmly.

“What else would it be?”

“You can get your old job back.”

“You remember why I lost it right? I don’t think Leroy is keen on giving me my job back while streaming is still going well.”

“It doesn’t have to be that specific job. You can find another thing to do part time.”

“Look at me Donna,” Ravel stood up to prove her point and moved around showing her wet diaper. “I’m a full-on adult baby. I didn’t even know I was wet until you told me and I only barely feel it when I mess.”

“I thought you didn’t mess?” Donna Sue said with fake shock. Ravel blushed forgetting she hadn’t really been up front telling people she messed her diapers now.

“Point being,” Ravel tried to move past the topic without really addressing it. “I need diapers now. Not to mention me needing my paci and bottle a lot now too.”

“Do you want your paci now? I can get it.”

“I do,” Ravel said sitting down again. “But no don’t. I can get it when we finish. What I’m saying is I don’t think I’m really ready for a typical job anymore.”

“I don’t mean to be harsh Ravel,” Donna Sue said, signaling she was about to be harsh. “But that’s kinda tough shit. You’re still an adult, and most adults don’t get to be diaper dependent and baby all the time. If you wanna get more money you have to be an adult like the rest of us.”

“Not if I do Cosmic Fans though,” Ravel was quick to point out. Donna Sue silently glared and took a bite of food, having no counter point. “I’m not gonna deny I’m incredibly privileged to be even be able to be diaper dependent like I am, and you’re right, I could just suck it up and be the adult I need to be. I don’t want to though. I like it. Doing Cosimic Fans is getting more money without having to give that up. Plus, Stuffies promises to help set up the whole thing.”

“Are you trying to convince me or you?” Donna said before coyly sipping some broth. It was Ravel’s turn to take a bite of chicken and dumplings in defeat. “If you’re trying to convince yourself it sounds to me like you’ve already made up your mind. I won’t lie to you; I definitely don’t like the idea. You’re still gonna be my friend though, porn star or not though.”

“Well thanks,” Ravel said meekly.

“I’m not done yet. You may want to take that back,” Ravel ate another bite while Donna Sue continued. “Even if it is just born out of ignorance and discrimination, there is a negative stigma to porn stars. Once you start you can’t take that back.”

“I’ve pissed myself on stream Donna, I don’t think I can come back from that,” Ravel countered effortlessly.

“That’s fair enough.,” Donna Sue took a breathe in. “You said Stuffies was going to help you?”

“Yeah. They do what they do now for me streams,” Ravel explained. “They help with my schedule, give me some assets to use. They even have like paid mommy and daddy actors to come in. They might even by a crib for me if I use it porn.”

“You don’t think that’s a little odd? I mean paid mommies and daddies.”

“For once I actually agree with you,” Ravel said a little embarrassed. “I’m not gonna lie, I have been feeling a bit like I’m falling into the spider’s web lately, but I’ve got Micheal looking over all my stuff for me. He says it’s all above board.”

“Even if it is, are you sure it’s a good idea to walk into a spider web?”

“The thing that makes me feel safe is that we want the same thing. I want to be a baby all the time basically and they want me to be a baby all the time too. We both make money that way. The reason they've been offering me so many opportunities for Cosmic Fans stuff is because we’d both make a ton of money off that. I’m aware of it and I’m taking it into consideration.”

“You’re not as much of a baby as you look, ya know?” Donna Sue snickered. “I’m just worried you’re getting peer pressured into doing this.”

“I mean kinda,” Ravel shifted a little in her chair. “I wouldn’t call it peer pressure per se. All the other diaper girls do it and say it’s a good idea. They all do it together even. I don’t think they’re intending to peer pressure me. It’s legitimately good for them and they are just giving me advice.”

“Do you think you can tell the difference?”

“Am I convincing you, or are you trying to convince yourself?” Ravel turned Donna Sue’s earlier question around on her. Donna Sue laughed out loud, Ravel chuckled as well.

“Where is your paci? you’re getting too sassy,” Donna Sue said cheekily. Ravel gave a blushing laugh as the image of a pacifier getting pushed into her mouth because she back talked. Donna Sue seemed to take note and blushed as well. Ravel looked away mortified. “Look whatever you do,” Donna Sue said wrapping the conversation up. “You still got a place here. I’m here if you need me.”

“Thanks Donna.”

“Go get your baba I’ll put you some sweet tea in it and we can watch a movie.” Ravel looked away at the idea. “Don’t get in your head about it. You said earlier you’re an adult baby now. drinking out of a baba is just part of who you are.”

“Ok,” Ravel gave in getting up from the table to get her bottle from her new to her diaper bag.

“Do you need a diaper change?” Donna Sue said noting the sagging diaper under Ravel’s dress.

“I got it! I got it!” Ravel squealed.

“If you say so I was just offering,” Donna Sue said cheekily.

AUTHORS NOTE: Here's the next chapter everyone. It seems like Ravel, as always, reaches out to her good friend when she needs some advice, and more talks to herself than to Donna Sue, but it seems like she's come to a conclusion. There's still more to the night to go though.
