Ravel blushed a bit as she looked at her image on the video call. She never would get used to giving her first impressions in a baby outfit it seemed. Ravel was in a light blue onesie with a white bib like piece of fabric around the collar, this one was a gift from Onesies Above for an ad read. The matching pacifier clipped to it with a matching pacifier clip was a similar gift from Pacifier Crazies. The only thing that kept Ravel from completely dying of embarrassment was that another person on the call was similarly dressed.
Bunny, another popular diaper streamer, was also on the call. She was an extremely thin, small, and pale. She looked like a doll, even with doll-like black hair. Ravel wondered what she had to do to keep that figure. Bunny was in her own little outfit, a pink nightie decorated with cutely drawn berries with cartoon faces and with a purple pacifier on a pink clip decorated with cartoon cats.
The third person on the call, Theo, had encouraged Ravel and Bunny to wear little attire during the call to help break the ice with conversation, though Theo herself was wearing a smart grey business suit with a flowery pink broach on the collar.
“Hello there Bandsy,” Bunny broke the silence seemingly unphased at being in the cutesy little outfit on a video call. Ravel waved back with noticeably less confidence.
“So, what are you girls thinking for the collab?” Theo was right to business. Ravel found it a little odd that Theo was completely ignoring the two adult babies in all their accompanying paraphernalia. It was odd for there to be no comment about it, but Ravel chose not to look a gift horse in the mouth. Theo, likely, had to be around adult babies most of the time. To her onesies and nighties were probably as typical attire as her business suit. “I do have some ideas if you need it.”
“Well, we gotta play Call of Honor, right?” Bunny cut in confidently. “I mean Cereal did put the challenge down to see who was the best gamer baby.” Theo and Ravel were both a little shocked at the abruptness of Bunny and she picked up on it blushing and giggling. “I mean if that’s ok,” Bunny said apologetically. “Sorry didn’t mean to overwrite anyone.”
“No no that’s fine,” Theo said quickly. “I actually think that’s a great idea. Bandsy?”
“Yeah, uh that works,” Ravel stammered a bit. “I mean I don’t want you to think that was anything serious Bunny,” Ravel said with worry.
“Oh, I know it’s not,” Bunny said laughing. “But rivalries are great for views. Gives it drama, stakes. Right Theo.”
“Depending on the situation,” Theo paused a bit as she went into an explanation. “I think that is more true for … traditional streamers or MeTubers,” Theo paused to pick the right word there. “In our demographic, though, I think people will be averse to any serious conflict. As long as the rivalry is very tongue in cheek though it should go over well.” Ravel sighed in relief not wanting to be antagonistic to a new person even if it was pretend for views. Bunny smiled with delight.
“I can do tongue in cheek,” Bunny said still smiling. “Plus, it’s nice if we can be friendly on stream, it’s easier.”
“Yeah,” Bandsy said a little unsure.
“So, we can play some one v one on Call of Honor for a bit, do you think that can take up a whole stream?” Bunny said in thought.
“I doubt it,” Ravel said quickly. “But we could go play battlezone after that.”
“Yeah yeah that sounds good.”
“I think we can make that work,” Theo said typing something on her computer. “So, for diapers we were hoping to do a pull-up and diaper combo, if Bandsy is ok with going in pull-ups for a bit.” Bandsy blushed a bit at the notion that going in a pull-up would be an inconvenience for her. She was about to agree but Bunny was faster.
“The loser should be in diapers,” Bunny cut in. “A punishment for loosing.” Once again Ravel almost cut in before she was cut off.
“Other way around,” Theo corrected. “Loser in pull-ups.” Bunny giggled a bit. Ravel couldn’t tell for sure, but it seemed liked Theo smirked a bit at her slight correction. “Be sure to have a bit where the pull-up wearer has to leave to change. Highlight how they wouldn’t need to do that if they were in a diaper.”
“I like it. We can put the changing video on Cosmic Fans too,” Bunny had just thought of the idea and was excited by it.
“I dunno about that,” Ravel cut in shyly.
“Bandsy doesn’t have Cosmic Fans,” Theo added.
“Really?” Bunny said in shock. Ravel was blushing and looking away. “I mean you go if you can do that it’s just kind of surprising to me.” Ravel laughed nervously, thankfully Theo kept the conversation moving.
“Back to the diapers. The print we were thinking was the Learning Letters. That’s been one that’s been performing a little low. Thankfully we do have the time to send you both some ahead of time. I’ll be sure to add the diaper and pull-up to both of your subscription boxes,” Theo said while she typed away on her computer presumably doing just that.
“Excellent,” Bunny smiled enough that her eyes closed. “Theo, you have been such a help setting this up.”
“Just doing my job and making the introductions,” Theo subtly scratched her nose and turned her head downward. Ravel head learned that Theo’s emotions were subtle and hard to detect. This one quick little motion has her trying to hide that emotion. What Bunny had said had affected Theo, she appreciated the thanks. It made sense that a career driven woman like Theo would appreciate being told she did a good job. “Systems show you should both get your new diapers in two weeks and does that weekend work for you both?”
“It does for me,” Ravel said quickly. Bunny was looking away seemingly at her calendar.
“I’m doing Cosmic Fans stuff that Friday, but Saturday is good,” Bunny said a bit distracted.
“Bandsy?” Theo looked to confirm.
“Yeah, still good,” Ravel answered.
“Perfect,” Theo said typing away at her computer again.
“Great I am excited,” Bunny said practically bouncing. “I get to have my turn with the new baby.”
“Yeah, it’ll be fun,” Ravel said cheerily. “It’s still crazy to me that I’m getting collabs with big diaper streamers.”
“Collabing brings in the big bucks,” Bunny said nodding. “In addition to being fun.”
“You are also one of the big diaper streamers, Bandsy,” Theo added. “Fourth most watched by my metrics.”
“Yeah, out of four,” Ravel dismissed.
“Hey don’t do that,” Bunny said seriously. “Comparison is the thief of joy. The only reason the rest of us our higher is probably the Cosmic Fans stuff.” Ravel looked at her camera a little dumb struck, realizing how right Bunny probably was.
“We have done the measurements,” Theo spoke in a purely factual manner. “Going back and looking at all the other girls’ view counts we do notice a spike in numbers around the time they started doing Cosmic Fans. Of course that doesn’t apply to Bunny, but it is true for Cereal and Sally.”
“It doesn’t apply to Bunny?” Ravel asked confused.
“Yeah, you guys go from streaming to Cosmic Fans I went the other way around,” Bunny made a circle with her finger as she said this.
“Oh wow,” Ravel didn’t quite know what to make of that. She made an effort to swallow down her immediate reaction of disapproval instilled in her by a “moral upbringing.”
"Though she did experience a similar increase once she started streaming," Theo continued.
“I quite enjoy streaming too,” Bunny continued pontifying a bit. “It’s a lot less pressure than Cosmic Fans content, though that isn’t so bad these days,” Bunny spoke knowingly.
“Oh?” Bandsy asked. Bunny was silent indicating Theo to respond.
“In addition to scheduling stream collabs we can also help assist with Cosmic Fans content,” Theo explained.
“They hooked me up with a sweet mommy dom for my changing and spanking videos. Oh, and they helped me get my new crib. It’s super sweet.”
“You have a crib?” Ravel said in a mix of jealousy and awe.
“It’s not as unreachable a goal as it used to be,” Theo explained. “Big little furniture is a company we’re helping bring up. They do cribs, playpens, highchairs …”
“Pretty much anything you would need for a great shoot,” Bunny finished for Theo. “And also, for personal fun.”
“I’m sure I can get you a quote if you’re interested Bandsy,” Theo offered. Ravel was quiet for a bit, trying to imagine a space in her small apartment that she could even fit a high chair, much less a crib, and finding nothing.
“Don’t think I have the room where I’m at,” Ravel said mostly talking to herself.
“Well get rid of your big girl bed, who needs that,” Bunny said jokingly. Ravel gave a polite laugh.
“The offer is always there,” Theo said mostly ignoring the joke Bunny made. “You can also go buy it on your own if you want.”
“I think I’m over that phase Theo,” Ravel said with a bit of a blush. “Especially for something that big I’ll definitely get you to handle it.”
“Oh, I could have you over for a crib sleepover stream. Imagine how cute it’d be sharing a crib,” Bunny said clearly imagining lewd content more than a friendly sleepover. “Where are you at Bandsy?”
“Alabama,” Ravel answered vaguely.
“Yikes,” was Bunny’s response.
“It’s not that bad,” Ravel said defensively.
“Not that great either,” Bunny countered.
“Fair enough I guess,” Ravel decided to let the topic die rather than get into the nuances of it.
“If it’s for the sake of content,” Theo interjected somewhat unexpectedly. “We could probably reimburse you for any flights. Provided you take our contract of course.”
“Sneaky little saleswoman,” Bunny said with a fake glare.
“I am in marketing,” Theo responded innocently. The mention of the contract did remind Ravel that she had to accept it. Micheal had looked it over and gotten back with her, but she hadn’t looked at what he had said yet. Even though her mind was basically made up already, she couldn’t help but feel the pressure.
“Well, I hate to run,” Ravel said realizing she should get to that. “I’ve got some things to get to today.”
“Coloring to do, diapers to mess I get it,” Bunny joked. “It was nice meeting you; I can’t wait for our stream.”
“Likewise,” Ravel said with a smile. There was an exit sound as Bunny disconnected from the call and another one shortly after as Theo did the same, but not after shooting a quick glance at Ravel. One that Ravel didn’t notice enough to interpret.
Ravel quickly switched to her chat with Micheal while it was on her mind.
Mickey: Looked it over and for the most part it is identical to the one CryBabyCereal sent over. It is a little odd that it is different at all though.
Bandsy: Odd?
There was a bit of a wait, Micheal had sent the message hours ago he likely wasn’t looking at the conversation actively. Eventually he must have noticed the notification and responded.
Mickey: Yeah. It seems like this one was tailored to you, there’s a lot more mentions of Cosmic Fans and furniture funding in yours than there was in CryBabyCereal’s
Bandsy: Well, Cereal already has a lot of that and wouldn’t need help.
Mickey: Yeah, it’s still odd that they seemingly personalized the contracts instead of making one generic contract for all of you.
Bandsy: Bad odd?
Mickey: No just odd odd.
Bandsy: Well, I guess I’m still accepting?
The question mark at the end successfully got across the intonation of a question.
Mickey: No reason you shouldn’t.
Bandsy: Gotcha. Thanks Micheal. I’ll send you some cash.
Mickey: You really don’t need to.
Bandsy: What if I want to?
Mickey: -_- Well you’d be really nice, I guess.
Bandsy: You’re a lawyer you gotta get used to takin money. :P
